Vane flow switches are devices used to measure and control the flow of liquids or gases within a system. These instruments utilize a vane that is displaced by the fluid flow, generating a signal proportional to the flow.
SIMPLE DESIGN AND ROBUSTNESS OF VANE FLOW SWITCHES
Their simple and robust construction makes them ideal for many industrial applications and sectors, including cooling systems, transportation systems, process control, power systems, and many more.
WIDE RANGE OF SIZES AND MATERIALS
Vane flow switches are available in a wide range of sizes and materials, depending on the specific requirements of the system. Their compact structure makes them easy to install and suitable for use in tight or limited space environments. Additionally, vane flow switches are designed to withstand extreme conditions of pressure and temperature, ensuring accurate and reliable fluid measurement.
PRECISION AND RELIABILITY
Their precision and reliability make them an ideal solution for many industrial needs. Standard vane flow switches are suitable for water and oil applications.
Vane flow switches are also highly accurate and repeatable, making them ideal for many process control applications. For example, they can be used to monitor fluid flow in cooling systems, ensuring that the required amount of fluid is used efficiently. They can also be used to control gas flow in power systems, ensuring fair and precise gas distribution.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS FOR VANE FLOW SWITCHES
Furthermore, vane flow switches can be customized to meet specific flow and pressure requirements, ensuring accurate and reliable fluid measurement. Their durability and reliability make them a cost-effective option for many industrial applications, as they save operators time and money compared to alternative solutions that require frequent maintenance or replacement.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a reliable solution for controlling the flow of liquids or gases, vane flow switches may be the right choice for you. Their precision, reliability, and durability make these instruments suitable for many industrial applications and can be customized to meet your specific needs. On this page, you will find our selection of vane flow switches. Contact us for applications involving specific fluids or mixtures. At Wis, we also offer flow switches in Atex execution.
The device works according to the paddle principle. The paddle is fixed on a bearing and protrudes into the flow. A magnet is attached to the opposite side. A second, external magnet repels the paddle magnet. This produces a restoring force.
This force may be set by changing the distance between the magnets by means of a screw so that the switching point of the device can be adjusted easily and precisely. A reed switch fixed to the outside is actuated contactfree by means of the magnet on the pendulum.
